Nestled in the heart of Exeter, this substantial family home had long served as a lively base for a bustling household. Stata Atelier was invited to reimagine the space, not simply to extend it, but to reconfigure its meaning.

This garden makeover wraps elegance around every corner, from a porcelain patio perfect for coffee and calm starts, to a sun-soaked raised deck with space to lounge, dine, and unwind in a six-person hot tub. A sunken lawn adds sculptural depth, framed by timber sleepers and a reclaimed trough planter that brings rustic charm to this refined outdoor retreat.

A Fresh Foundation: Decking Renewal 

Sometimes, the simplest interventions make the most meaningful impact. At a Devon home, a once-loved decking area had succumbed to time, rotted, structurally unsound, and no longer fit for purpose.
